RepairsSaunders & Pughe are pleased to offer our customers a fully comprehensive repair service.
Our Repair Services
- Clean and Polish – We have all the necessary modern equipment to clean and polish your jewellery. This service can often be carried out while you wait. However, if travelling from a distance it is best to contact the shop beforehand to let us know you plan to call in.
- Sizing – We can re-size most rings whether in silver, gold or platinum.
- Stringing pearls – We are able to re-string your pearls or beads. This service is carried out by our specialist stringers and usually takes up to ten days.
- Replacing lost stones – We can closely match most lost stones and reset into your jewellery.
- Re-tipping – Over time the claws holding stones in place can become very worn. We can re-tip old claws ensuring your precious stones are held in place securely.
- Restoration work – Where possible we can re-build your worn jewellery giving it an extra lease of life.
- Re-modelling – Sometimes jewellery passed down from generation to generation has become too worn to repair. We can replicate the item as closely as possible or re-set precious stones into a new piece of modern jewellery.
- Rhodium plating – We can re-rhodium plate your white gold jewellery; this process also includes a free clean and polish.

Monday to Saturday 10am until 5pm.
We are closed on Sundays, all bank holidays and we are closed between Christmas and New Year.
